THANKS !! to the many friends and the 'clear thinking' Hamburg
residents that supported my recent Hamburg Mayoral effort !!
It was ONLY TWO DAYS after the election and 'the word' had already gotten back to me why some of the CURRENT (and FORMER) CITY OFFICIALS didn't want me to be elected because of the 'protection' the City now has against me because I'm ONLY a CITIZEN. As such, 'the City' now makes the decision whether or not I should have access to information about the City that I request, and whether or not they'll 'disclose' it to me. The
'City' believes (wrongly) that City residents, and I, are too stupid to see through their 'guise' of what's taking place and their motives
for doing so !! That's just ONE (of many reasons) why I filed for Mayor.
EVERYONE KNOWS, that as MAYOR; I would have had FULL ACCESS to ALL CITY INFORMATION, FINANCES, 'EVENTS', (yes; EVEN MISCONDUCT and INAPPROPRIATE EMPLOYEE & CITY COUNCIL MEMBER BEHAVIOR) that I, and other residents, now; are PREVENTED from KNOWING ABOUT !! And WE'RE PAYING THE BILLS !!
If I had been elected Mayor, I would have IMMEDIATELY begun 'digging into' what's been taking place in our City for the past six years as well as asked the MINNESOTA STATE AUDITOR to conduct a FULL AUDIT & ACCOUNTING of the CITY'S FINANCIAL RECORDS for the PAST THREE YEARS !! (Remember the surreptitious 'GREAT HAMBURG CELL PHONE CAPER' from a couple of years ago that I 'uncovered' ??) Once their Department found out what was taking place, the Minnesota State Auditor 'put a stop to that' IMMEDIATELY !!
As citizens, I/WE, DO NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY to request 'outside agency' involvement and investigation. It's 'THE OLD SECRACY GAME' that's been taking place in Hamburg for YEARS and they don't want what's taking place, EXPOSED !! Their devious and secretive behavior still continues; unabated and undisclosed and will do so, again; for the NEXT FOUR YEARS !!
But, as MAYOR, I would have had the AUTHORITY TO REQUEST A FORMAL AUDIT, and some 'City Officials' would PROBABLY GO TO JAIL !! And, 'THE CITY' KNOWS THAT !!
Hence, my election to Mayor, was 'successfully 'blocked'; as I PREDICTED would be attempted; MORE THAN TWO MONTHS AGO on my Website (www.HAMBURGMINNESOTA.com) !! (As I believe most everyone knows, I've ARRESTED, and JAILED, PUBLIC OFFICIALS, INCLUDING a LAWYER, before during my nearly twenty year Law Enforcement career !!)
I have absolutely NO TOLERANCE for dishonest and unscrupulous PUBLIC OFFICIALS who are paid with TAXPAYER DOLLARS and VIOLATE THE PUBLIC TRUST !! I take their 'dubious actions and unethical behavior' VERY SERIOUSLY as should ALL City residents; by DEMANDING ACCOUNTABILITY !!

OTHER 2022 ELECTION RESULTS
I've contacted the Hamburg City Clerk/Treasurer's Office and asked for the names of the 5 'Write-In' Candidates for Mayor and the 2 'Write-In' Candidates for City Council. For the Mayor's position, Current City Council Member, Tim Tracy (good choice) received two votes, former Hamburg Mayor Richard Malz (BETTER than LUND) received only two votes and 'Donald Duck' (also BETTER than LUND) is believed to have received only a single vote (which wasn't counted).
As for the two 'Write-In' votes received for the two City Council Member seats 'up for grabs', one was for former City Council Member Steve Trebesch; the only other vote was for Current City Council Member Tim Tracy, whose term is NOT expiring this year.
Interesting to note how former Hamburg Mayor Richard Malz 'faired' (or didn't fair) in his latest 'effort' to be elected to the City Council this year. As I recall, he didn't seek to be re-elected as Hamburg's Mayor in the 2016 election; instead, Malz filed for City Council in a 'coordinated effort' with Hamburg's other PUBLIC OFFICIALS to ensure that I wouldn't be re-elected to the City Council that same year. With Malz filing for City Council that year instead of seeking to be re-elected as Hamburg's Mayor, that created a vacancy in the Hamburg Mayor's Office which INSTANTLY resulted in a drooling and saliva dripping 'mongrel dog' sitting outside the door to the Hamburg Mayor's Office in the fall of 2016.
That' 'mongrel dog' turned out to be none other than Hamburg City Councilmember CHRIS LUND whose City Council term also expires on December 31, 2016. I'm sure there were some 'behind the scenes conspiratorial negotiations' (as there OBVIOUSLY were this year) to ensure that my 2016 re-election bid for the Hamburg City Council; which I 'didn't really want' because of the previous two and a half years of witnessing the 'turmoil' and 'vindictiveness' that EXISTED WAY BACK THENwouldn't be successful. And it wasn't. I was ANYTHING but disappointed.
Oh, by the way, let's not forget that their 'foolishness' and 'small town politics' to
prevent me from being re-elected to the Hamburg City Council in 2017
LASTED TWO & A HALF YEARS
and
COST HAMBURG TAXPAYERS' $50,000.00 in LEGAL FEES !!
But oddly enough and like their 'plan' back in 2016, their (not very well thought out) 'plan' for this year's election once again 'backfired' on them. Malz didn't get enough votes in 2016 to be elected to the Hamburg City Council; he ALSO didn't even get enough votes in this year's election to be elected to the Hamburg City Council; he only received TWO 'write-in' votes this year for Mayor. (By contrast, I received 50 votes for Mayor.)
Whoever was 'in charge' of a 'RE-ELECT MALZ for HAMBURG MAYOR' write-in campaign sure 'screwed up; BIG TIME !! As a result, we're they're STUCK with LUND for the next four years !!
That pretty much leaves Malz (Hamburg's answer to Harold Staasan) 'sitting on the sidelines'. I MUCH RATHER would have been 'defeated' by Malz; a guy that's got some 'class' and personality, rather than by egotistical and 'self-servicing' LUND; who is ONLY 'looking out' for LUND !!
Their 'greediness' to prevent me from being elected Mayor of Hamburg this year basically has
'SUNK' their (own) ENTIRE 'ship' and leaves LUND 'at the helm' of Hamburg for ANOTHER
FOUR YEARS !! Apparently that's what 224 voters living in Hamburg 'wanted'.
Well; your 'got what you wished for'; now they're STUCK with LUND for the next four years !!
GOD HELP US with CHRIS LUND being re-elected as the City's Mayor !! (And wait until you learn one of the 'first things' that LUND did when he FIRST became Mayor in January 2017 !!)
When Hamburg City Councilmember Scott Feltmann passed away while in Office, one of the 'applicants' seeking to be 'appointed to fill the City Council vacancy was (you guessed it), former Mayor and defeated City Council Candidate, Richard Malz. But, apparently the City Council had already 'had enough' of Malz, and DECLINED to appoint him to finish up Council Member Feltmann's term. Instead, the City Council appointed JASON BUCKENTIN (PAY ATTENTION; you'll be hearing that name AGAIN) to fill the remainder of Council Member Feltmann's term.
So; here's the 'box score' for Malz (as they say in baseball): "THREE UP; THREE DOWN; NOBODY LEFT." But, there's always 2024; 'place your bets' ! (I'd 'support' him' !!)
For the record, MALZ would have been (and was) a MUCH BETTER MAN for the position of Hamburg Mayor that LUND !! Sure; Malz and I 'had our differences', but at the
'end of the day' we BOTH were 'looking out' for the betterment of the
City of Hamburg and the welfare of it's residents !!
Councilmember Tim Tracy 'got it right' when he made the statement,
"How can this town have so many problems ALWAYS."
And well he might ask.
Councilmember Tracy: That's an EASY QUESTION TO ANSWER:
NO LEADERSHIP; NO ACCOUNTABILITY !!

'Stabbing me in the back' by committing the acts AGAINST ME that he did, at MY EXPENSE for his OWN BENEFIT and PERSONAL GAIN is UNDOUBTEDLY, during my nearly 80 YEARS on God's Good Earth; one of the

DEPARTMENT, the NORWOOD/YOUNG AMERICA FIRE

In addition to 'DISGRACING' and BRINGING 'DISREPUTE' to his PROFESSIONS, he
has ALSO 'CHEAPENED' and 'DISCREDITED' the American 'election process'.
There's nothing good to be said about the character of a person who works EVERYDAY
alongside other fellow Firefighters, E.M.S. personnel AND LAW ENFORCEMENT who
supports a MAYORAL CANDIDATE WITH A CRIMINAL RECORD that includes
DOMESTIC ASSAULT
instead of a long time friend and a seasoned, experienced &
professional retired LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER !!
Somehow, I thought he had more 'class' than that.
I truly loved, trusted, admired, adored, worshipped, respected and thought
the world of and, erroneously; thought Brad was a VERY GOOD 'CLOSE
PERSONAL & TRUE FRIEND',
BUT , instead; he (mis)used his 'influence' on the ENTIRE CITY COUNCIL,
the Hamburg MAYOR, the CITY CLERK/TREASURER and the
HAMBURG RESIDENTS, to ENSURE that my 'election
bid' for Hamburg Mayor would NOT be successful.
If my Mayoral campaign had been successful, he would no longer be in 'control' of
the City; EVEN THOUGH he has NO LEGAL AUTHORITY OF ANY KIND
with, or within, the City of Hamburg !!
ELECTION FRAUD DEFINITION:
Sometimes referred to as ELECTION MANIPULATION, VOTER FRAUD or VOTE RIGGING, involves ILLEGAL INTERFERENCE with the PROCESS of an ELECTION either by INCREASING the vote
share of a FAVORED CANDIDATE, DEPRESSING the
vote share of RIVAL CANDIDATES, or BOTH !!

from residents regarding the results of the Hamburg Mayoral Election;
here's the latest comment that I received regarding Droege:
"That is how those type of people operate, goes to show you, one never knows who is in your corner until you get in the ring. Unfortunate for your friendship with him, but I am sure the friendship aspect was one sided, meaning you to him. Pretty low of a man who is suppose to be this big well respected Hamburg number one citizen at least in his own mind."
"Money does strange things to ones ego if you let it, obviously he has. Why he backs Lund is a testement to his ignorance of mankind in general."
IT IS WORTH REPEATING that this whole matter is NOT about me 'losing the election'; that's a 'risk' that one takes when filing for PUBLIC OFFICE. I can (and have) 'accepted' that fact that I was 'defeated', and have 'gotten over it' (not that there really ever was anything to really 'get over'), yet; it is CLEARLY EVIDENT the HAMBURG MAYORAL ELECTION was UNQUESTIONABLY 'INFLUENCED' by 'OUTSIDE SOURCES' !! (Who, by the way, should ALL BE IN JAIL !!)
Rather; this is all about HONESTY, INTEGRITY and ACCOUNTABILITY; three CRITICAL FACTORS that are sorely missing within the Hamburg City Hall and is (or SHOULD be)cause for concern for ANY self-respecting, honest and 'God fearing' Hamburg resident!! I'm TRULY DISAPPOINTED in the sinister, 'back-door', underhanded tactics that this PROMINENT PUBLIC SAFETY HAMBURG RESIDENT used AGAINST me instead of being 'UPFRONT' and HONEST.
ELECTION MEDDLING IN HAMBURG ?? Everything considered, something really
'STINKS' with the local Hamburg election. (Was Vladimir Putin in town recently
'MEDDLING' ??) I DON'T have a problem with the overall Carver County election
'process'. Rather, my 'issue' is with the 'tactics' employed locally to ENSURE
that the results in Hamburg, will favor; and will benefit, the City's PUBLIC
OFFICIALS & CITY EMPLOYEES involved in, and responsible for, the
'MEDDLING' that took place.

I would like to SPECIFICALLY call you attention to the coming 'absence' of the Webpages that I VOLUNTARILY designed and updated during the past year (without request) for the Carver County Sheriff's Office and the Carver County Health Department. Sheriff Jason Kamerud and Dr. Richard Scott, BOTH of them; did, and do, an EXCELLENT JOB in their respective Departments to help keep Carver County residents safe and healthy. I was pleased with the opportunity to use my 20+ years of Website-buiding experience, to 'showcase' their fine Departments and the dedicated Carver County employees working in each Department, on my own Websites.
The reason those two Websites no longer exist is primarily because of the amount of time required to keep them updated and 'fresh', plus; I think the 'public' already knows, and appreciates, the efforts of those two Departments and their 'Department Heads'.
While I thoroughly enjoyed creating and updating those two Websites, my 'focus' is now being 're-directed' to matters which more urgently need my attention; PARTICULARLY since the results of the grossly 'lopsided' (224/50) election were disclosed.

HAMBURG CITY CLERK/TREASURER JEREMY GRUENHAGEN for 2023 was
'AUTOMATICALLY APPROVED' by the HAMBURG CITY COUNCIL
at its final 2022 meeting, citing that his
'.... job performance exceeded expectations'.

TRUE FACT
(among MANY others) is that
BECAUSE OF HIS ACTIONS
the City has been
WITHOUT A 'DEPUTY' CITY CLERK
and
WITHOUT A PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE ABOUT FOUR MONTHS !!
That makes one wonder: ARE those TWO POSITIONS REALLY NECESSARY !! The City seems to have 'gotten along
just fine' for the past FOUR MONTHS without those (EXPENSIVE) positions being filled, certainly the 'DEPUTY' CITY
CLERK position is TOTALLY UNNEEDED !! (You'll recall that I pledged to 'ABOLISH' the position !!)
Something else that the City refuses to take responsibility for is the lack of applicants for the City's two job vacancies that occurred last September: The City's 'reputation' of Hamburg NOT BEING A GOOD PLACE TO WORK
because of it being a 'HOSTILE & TOXIC WORK ENVIRONMENT'.
The erratic, sporadic and 'unpredictable' 'VIOLENT OUTBURSTS' (as DOCUMENTED in the CITYS OWN RECORDS)
that occurred behind the 'closed doors' of City Hall !! This TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR which I
learned about and PERSONALLY WITNESSED (and REPORTED) as a City Councilmember, was
ALSO WITNESSED by AT LEAST FOUR former City employees; EVEN a 'VENDOR' !!
Yet, the INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR of HAMBURG CITY CLERK/TREASURER JEREMY GRUENHAGEN,
that 'drives away' good, qualified potential City employees, was described as
'job performance exceeded expectations'. WHAT A JOKE !!

FIRST AND FOREMOST, this whole matter is NOT about me 'losing the election'; that's a 'risk' that one takes when filing for PUBLIC OFFICE.
I can (and have) 'accepted' that fact that I was 'defeated', and have 'gotten over it' (not that there really ever was anything to really 'get over').
Yet; it is CLEARLY EVIDENT the HAMBURG MAYORAL ELECTION was UNQUESTIONABLY 'INFLUENCED'
by past and present CITY OFFICIALS and 'OUTSIDE SOURCES' !! (Who should ALL BE IN JAIL !!)
This is all about HONESTY, INTEGRITY and ACCOUNTABILITY; three CRITICAL FACTORS that are sorely missing within the Hamburg City Hall and is
(or SHOULD be) cause for concern for ANY 'self-respecting', honest and 'God fearing' Hamburg resident !! I'm TRULY DISAPPOINTED
in the sinister, 'back-door', underhanded tactics that a PROMINENT PUBLIC SAFETY EXPERT & HAMBURG RESIDENT used
