I wish to APOLOGIZE, on behalf of the 561 FINE RESIDENTS of the CITY OF HAMBURG; for the CRUDE,
UNCALLED FOR and VULGAR LANGUAGE used by HAMBURG CITY COUNCIL MEMBER ERIC POPPLER, during the November 16, 2024 Hamburg City Council Meeting; wherein the status and circumstances of three parcels of property owned by Hamburg residents, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Trebesch; were being discussed.
It is WHOLLY UNCONSCIONABLE and TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE that HAMBURG CITY COUNCIL MEMBER ERIC POPPLER has so little respect for the elected PUBLIC OFFICE that he holds and the Hamburg residents that he represents, that he would choose to INTENTIONALLY and DELIBERATELY ‘DROP THE F-BOMB’
at a PUBLIC CITY COUNCIL MEETING, ALSO attended by FEMALE HAMBURG CITY COUNCIL MEMBER JESSICA WEBER and wherein your presence was requested, BY THE CITY OF HAMBURG to attend; to offer your knowledge and experience in the matter being discussed.
It is ALSO truly disappointing that NONE of the other HAMBURG CITY OFFICIALS including MAYOR CHRIS LUND and HAMBURG CITY CLERK/TREASURER JEREMY GRUENHAGEN, saw fit to ‘call out’ COUNCIL MEMBER ERIC POPPLER for his unrefined, tawdry and embarrassing misconduct !! But, as you’ve probably already ‘figured out’, that’s “How they roll” !!
The deplorable misconduct of COUNCIL MEMBER ERIC POPPLER and the failure of any of the other HAMBURG CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS to respond appropriately, is an accurate depiction of the poor ‘caliber’ of HAMBURG CITY OFFICIALS that ‘govern’ our tiny City. SEXUAL HARASSMENT - HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT
There are two forms in which sexual harassment occurs. The first is quid pro quo sexual harassment, when tangible employment actions are taken against employees who do not comply with sexual demands. The second form of sexual harassment is the creation of a 'HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT' that interferes with an employee’s ability to do work, or creates an intimidating and oppressive atmosphere in the workplace.
Claims of sexual harassment based on the use of vulgar language, curses, obscenity and/or profanity often results in the employee being subjected to a 'HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT'.
This is NOT he first time that I've brought up the existence of a 'HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT' in the CITY OF HAMBURG because, as we just witnessed; of what takes place inside City Hall involving CITY OFFICIALS !!
Everyone remember the personable and professional lady that served as the HAMBURG 'DEPUTY' CITY CLERK FOR EIGHT YEARS ?? She ABRUPTLY RESIGNED because HAMBURG MAYOR CHRIS LUND REFUSED to take ANY ACTION upon receiving her NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS about the INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR
and MISCONDUCT of her 'boss'; HAMBURG CITY CLERK/TRESURER JEREMY GRUENHAGEN !!
I'll 'go through' MY COPIES of the audio that I have from the HAMBURG CITY COUNCIL MEETING where 'everything came to a head', and post that audio on my Website FOR EVERYONE TO HEAR !!
As EVEN MORE EVIDENCE of the existence of a 'HOSTILE WORK ENVIROMENT' in the CITY OF HAMBURG, I was able to obtain about FIFTY PAGES of (what they thought were 'private') e-mails between HAMBURG CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS, that DOCUMENT, ABSOLUTELY; the covert efforts of the CITY OF HAMBURG, to 'get rid of' the former PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE so that a FORMER MAYOR'S SON, the current PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE; could 'get the job', instead !! ASK THE CITY to SHOW YOU THE E-MAILS BETWEEN CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS that ABSOLUTELY PROVES MY STATEMENT & CLAIM !!

NEPOTISM: Definition "The practice among those with power or influence of favoring relatives, friends, or associates, especially by giving them jobs." Also, "Nepotism can be considered a contributing factor to a HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT, as it can create a perception of unfairness, resentment among employees, and a feeling that the playing field is not level, ultimately leading to a toxic workplace culture where people feel undervalued and demotivated.
And THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED; I've got the EVIDENCE, FROM THE CITY OF HAMBURG; to
PROVE EXACTLY 'WHAT TOOK PLACE' !!
Oh, and ask the CITY OF HAMBURG whatever happened with the other half a dozen or so, OTHER applicants for the vacant PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE applicants.
I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED; I even TALKED with one of the applicants and 'l'VE LEARNED A LOT MORE' about the LACK OF HONESTY, INTEGRITY and ETHICS of HAMBURG CITY OFFICIALS !!

From what I've heard on the many hours of the audio recordings I've listened to of the HAMBURG CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS and from what I've been able to 'uncover' on my own, it's VERY APPARENT to

MOTIVES of the CITY OF HAMBURG are, and the manner in which they are
attempting to successfully accomplish those DESPICABLE MOTIVES !!

HAMBURG MAYOR CHRIS LUND and HAMBURG CITY/TREASURER JEREMY GRUENHAGEN who, among committing many other DASTARDLY MISDEEDS; SCHEMED TOGETHER to 'COVER-UP' the
VANDALISM done to CITY PROPERTY by LUND'S CHILD; the TREBESCH FAMILY HAS EVERY REASON to NOT TRUST HAMBURG CITY OFFICIALS and to NOT APPEAR AT ANY CITY COUNCIL MEETING, ANY OTHER VENUE or by any other MEANS; thereby SUBJECTING THEMSELVES to the
RELENTLESS RIDICULE and FURTHER MISCONDUCT, DISRESPECT, and BERATING
by VINDICTIVE, SINISTER, INSECURE, and SELF-SERVING PUBLIC OFFICIALS WHO ABUSE THEIR POWER and AUTHORITY; in VIOLATION OF MINNESOTA STATUTE 609.43 - MISCONDUCT OF PUBLIC OFFICIAL OR EMPLOYEE.
The CITY OF HAMBURG, because of the 'INAPPROPRIATE RELATIONSHIP' between, and involving; MAYOR CHRIS LUND and HAMBURG CITY CLERK/TREASURER JEREMY GRUENHAGEN as described above; WILL NEVER be able to SETTLE THIS MATTER FAIRLY and AMICABLY UNTIL THEY CHANGE THEIR ATTITUDE, CEASE THEIR IGNOMINIOUS MISCONDUCT AGAINST THE CITY and its
RESIDENTS, and REALIZE that COMMON DECENCY REQUIRES THEM to act FAIRLY, and
IMPARTIALLY; instead of believing that THEY CAN RULE with the 'ALMIGHTY HAND OF GOD' !!
Even MORE BIZARRE, is that the OTHER CITY OFFICIALS CASUALLY ACCEPT SUCH EGREGIOUS CONDUCT and BEHAVIOR !!
Given the appropriate and proper information and documents, and because I 'don't have a horse in this race' I, or ANY OTHER CLEAR THINKING, IMPARTIAL PERSON, COULD EASILY SETTLE THIS ENTIRE MATTER FAIRLY, and QUICKLY; with LITTLE or NO LEGAL EXPENSE to EITHER PARTY and NO PROLONGED 'LEGAL BATTLE' !! But LUND and GRUENHAGEN BOTH like to 'GRANDSTAND' and be the 'CENTER OF ATTENTION' !! Now, they BOTH HAVE THE 'SPOTLIGHT', that they so RICHLY CHERISH' !!
But BECAUSE the THREE CITY OFFICIALS who are the 'MAIN AGGRESSORS' in this issue are NOT IMPARTIAL, DON'T 'PLAY FAIR', are BIASED and VINDICTIVE, coupled with on my own past 'observations' and experience with ALL THREE OF THEM during the FOUR YEARS that I was a HAMBURG CITY COUNCIL MEMBER, I foresee a LONG, PROTRACTED and EXPENSIVE 'legal battle' COSTING HAMBURG TAXPAYERS, AGAIN; TENS OF THOUSANDS OF THEIR HARD-EARNED TAXPAYER DOLLARS !!

Because of the NEBULOUS RESPONSES that I have previously received from the CITY OF HAMBURG, I had/have EVERY REASON TO BELIEVE that those SAME TYPE OF NEBULOUS RESPONSES would be received from the CITY OF HAMBURG when I sought information regarding the City's DEPLOREABLE ACTS regarding the three parcels of property in the City owned by the Trebesch family for FORTY YEARS !!
Therefore, I addressed my inquiry to 'CITY PLANNER' CORRIN BEMIS of BOLTON-MENK; the Chaska based company that, according to it's Website (www.bolton-menk.com) ".....specializes in providing public infrastructure solutions." Here's a copy of the letter I sent, as a PRIVATE, TAX PAYING CITIZEN SEEKING PUBLIC INFORMATION; to BOLTON-MENK:
